Our Pastors

Every dream starts somewhere. Every vision requires someone to step out, to take a risk, and to trust God for the impossible. Over 20 years ago, Dr. M.J. Mitchell began to pursue his passion for ministry by stepping out and saying yes to the call he knew God had placed on his life. Loyal and driven would be the two words that best describe Dr. M.J. He listens when God speaks and knows that this is where God has planted his family.

“We desire to create a life-giving church that helps the people of Cincinnati discover their passion to give them a space to be used by God and find fulfillment."

Along with his wife Lady K. Mitchell, they have great expectations for the greater from God and to see God do awesome things in your life!

About Us

Our Vision:
Our vision is to be a church that reaches and impacts people from any level and help them to be all that God wants them to be.

Our Approach:
Realizing that we as individuals are spirit, soul, and body, the Total Life Church will approach ministry with the goal of ministering to and edifying the complete person.

The Core Values:
Our Core Values determine the fingerprint of our church. It is our basic core values that make up our DNA. It can be broken down into 4E’s.
  • Encounter: To foster an atmosphere where people would encounter the presence, power, grace, mercy, and love of God. An atmosphere that signs, wonders, miracles, blessings, and favor are an everyday occurrence in the lives of the members of this church.

  • Evangelize: To fulfill the great commission of Matthew 28:19, 20 by aggressively evangelizing the lost with the goal of leading them to Christ.

  • Empower: To empower the believer to live an effective Christian life. This includes the total person spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

  • Equip: To equip the believer to administer their set of spiritual gifts to their family, church, and community. The goal of this church is not to be a religious group but a life changing family.

What We Beleive

The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26). There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human effort (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8: Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).

Satan is a spiritual being. He is a tempter and the cause of the fall of man. For him was prepared hell and all those who do not accept Jesus as their Savior will spend eternity in hell (Genesis 3:4, Job 1:6-12; I Corinthians. 7:5; Revelation, 20:10).

The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. The Bible lists of these gifts are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may occur in various combinations. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of biblical parameters. (Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11, 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:16; II Timothy 1:5-16, 4:14; I Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; I Peter 4:10).

It is the Father’s will for believer’s to become whole, healthy and successful in all areas of life. But because of the fall, many may not receive the full benefits of God’s will while on earth. That fact, though, should never prevent all believers from seeking the full benefits of Christ’s provision in order to better serve others.
  •  Spiritual (John 3:3-11; II Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10).
  •  Mental and emotional (II Timothy 1:7, 2:11; Philippians 4:7-8; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3).
  •  Physical (Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; I Peter 2:24).
  •  Financial (Joshua 1:8; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; II Corinthians 9:6-10; Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Psalm 34:10, 84:11; Philippians 4:19).
